So if you are making this octopus for your kids and not for decoration, I would definitely recommend you to use instead of this ordinary eyes, real safety eyes that you attach on the toy and they will not fall out no matter what. They are not safety eyes for amigurumi toys. For the eyes, I was using some plastic eyes that you can buy in your local craft store. Just work in rounds all the time and you will see how beautiful the final result will be. I was using DK weight yarn in orange and my 3.0 mm crochet hook for the body and 3.5 mm crochet hook for the eyes circles. I am so so happy for that! 🙂Ī few days ago I’ve created a cute amigurumi octopus. The best thing is, that it has an additional room that we transformed into small office/working area. The reason I was not around so much was that we moved to our new apartment.
